Take the RIDE to increase your skill level by learning how to properly complete patterns (special learning tool provided.
Prerequisite: Student knits, purls comfortably; works beyond beginner patterns. Time permitting: Knitting Q&A Session, Lecture: Tips & Techniques.

CROCHET WORKSHOP, ONE SESSION: How To Read, Interpret, Dissect & Execute Challenging Patterns – (The ‘RIDE’) For Beg Intermediate to Intermediate Crocheters:
Take the RIDE to increase your skill level by learning how to properly read and execute crochet patterns. Learn the importance of how any next row or round of a pattern is dependent upon proper execution of the beginning and ending of each previous row or round.
Prerequisite: Student works fundamental stitches comfortably and is able to follow advanced beginner instructions. Time permitting: Q&A session; tips, techniques. Your class Preparations: Submit your crochet concerns before first day of class to be added to the discussion topics.

Invisible Seams, how to: vertical joins, horizontal joins, application with pattern stitches. How to evenly space increases and decreases across a row, the magic formula. Time permitting: ‘Cables on the Table’, Q&A, tips, techniques. Your class preparation: prepare swatches.

KNITTING LECTURE ONE SESSION – ALL SKILL LEVELS:
Lecture, Q&A, tips, techniques, and highly stimulating discussion on multiple topics including the binary system, yarn, gauge, needles, blocking, contents of a pattern, tips, techniques, looking for backwards writing, seaming, using yarn bras, crocheting in knitting, the design process.
